Mechanical testing is conducted to obtain properties of weld metal and general materials used for construction of pressure vessel, piping, steel structure. General test methods are Tensile Test, Bend Test, Impact Test, and Hardness Test. Other materials testing methods are Metallographic Test, Chemical Composition Analysis and Ferrite Content Analysis.
STIC is accredited by National Accreditation Council of Thailand (NAC) to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 — General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories.
